To help you make sense of the geneaology listed below, I'm posting a picture of our Grandfather Aggassiz's family. Standing from left to right: Thor, Jonathan, Arthur, Oswald, Agassiz (Grandpa), Herbert. Seated are their parents (my greatgrandparents- you can add your own "greats") are: Frederick and Maria Risser.
BTW- for those of you unfamiliar with this branch of the family, the oldest brother is Jonathan. Each subsequent brother was given a name that if all first letters were strung together it would spell "Jonathan". The brothers from oldest to youngest are: Jonathan, Oswald, Nathan (died young), Arthur, Thor, Herbert, Aggassiz and there wasn't a last son to give the final "N" to.
