We all went to Jeff and Michelle's for Christmas Eve and had a great time. Besides family they had a lot of friends over and it was a crowd, just like the kind Cherryl and I used to have and that I am starting to miss so much now that the family is getting scattered. Michelle worked up a program that involved every one with stories and singing and LOTS of food. Two really neat things happened at the party; first, Sydney gave us all copies of the book she made up with the pictures of mom and dad. It's a great book with a lot of photos I didn't know existed, plus a few journal entrys of dads when he was in the service. She was only able to make enough for us siblings, but it will be available to all of you through the internet. It's a "must have" for all the grand and great grand kids. Second, Michelle did a DVD tribute to dad called "Small Town Southern California Man" that was also just a joy to have. I'm going to glue the sleeve for the DVD into Syd's book so they're together in one place. Wegot a stack of blank DVD's and when they get back from Argentina in a few weeks she will make copies to send to anyone who wants them.
Logan sang "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for us.

All the kids got to do the Nativity story with Jeff narrating and all of us singing specific christmas songs for different parts of the story.

Looks like it was a blast
Thanks for posting this Gordon. As you know, my (old) camera was so slow I was missing all the pictures and was disappointed that I wouldn't be able to post any pictures from the evening. I was a fun evening and I love your idea about attaching the DVD inside the book.
