Marathon blogging is about to commence! I've been gone on vacation (keep scrolling down) and have some catching up to do.
Isn't this a good looking family? We celebrated Jeffrey's 15th birthday a day late at Jeff and Michele's. Becky is in from PA. Mom and I, Gordon, Cherry and Kyle came up as well as some family friends. (Gordon and clan left before I remembered that I brought my camera).
Jacob and Sara surprised us by coming down for a long weekend. It was so nice to have them here. 2 more months to go for Sara!
This is Rachel Miller (on left) and her family (I can't remember her current last name). My siblings will remember Rachel- she was the 3rd of 14 (yes, that's FOURTEEN) born to Nancy and Dallas Miller. Her oldest brother was Rees Miller, whom I taught as a Sunbeam in Sunday School. That was years before I taught Jeremy Risser and Johnny Thompson as Sunbeams (you do the math!). Rees died in a car accident in January 1990.

Rachel was on the pioneer trek with Jeffrey and was taken aback by how much he looked like the grown up Rees. When Michele told me this I had a hard time seeing the similarity based on the little boy I knew. Michele invited them to Jeff's party and Rachel brought a book that her sister Wendy made of Rees for her parents. I looked at it and was surprised to see that Jeffrey and Rees did in fact have a somewhat strong physical similarity! Could have been brothers! It was fun seeing Rachel as a grown woman with children of her own and seeing what a lovely strong woman she's become.

Syd, just thought I would let you know that wendy (miller) is in our ward. I'll have to ask her about the book.
Her last name is Evans. I remember wondering if he is related to Cory and Chris Evans who we know.
