Because I believe 2010 is going to be a good year, here's a picture of the Blue Moon as it rose above the tree line off my balcony on New Years Eve..
And to continue the good omen, here's a picture of sunset on New Years Day taken off the Palos Verdes peninsula. It was so unbelievably clear, that's Catalina Island you see on the left side of the picture. It was an incredibly lovely day and the low 70's.
