Jenni invited me to Tuscon to help celebrate Avalon's first birthday and Aarons third; not to mention the happy and safe return home of Daniel. It was a fast (and hot!) one but a very satisfying trip. I flew in on Friday evening and came home Sunday afternoon.
The theme was pirates and princesses. Jenni made this cute tutu for Avalon and princess hats- in true one year old fickeled fashion, she wouldn't wear the hat. None-the-less, she was an adorable princess.
Jenni made this pirate flag on the morning of the party. To say I was impressed would be a huge understatement. She also made a cute pirate outfit but Aaron - in true 3 year old fashion- became a bit fickeled and decided he did not want to wear it. He did wear the shorts during the party.
A bouncy castle had been rented but needless to say, Tuscon was hot and party hosting didn't allow for much time to truly appreciate it. Later that night we all went out to enjoy it in the cool evening air. It proved to be some memorable and endearing family fun.
... and a good time was had by all.

What a Hoot!! Wish we could get to see you all once in a while. But please come to LA for the summer, (anyone over 40 knows the tune)Tucson is TOO hot. Miss seeing you guys. Cann you make it to the 4th celebration at Syd's on the 26th?
The Daniel-in-the-box was really clever. What memories those will be in years to come.
